Client Workstations

Bentley OpenUtilities Designer was developed for Intel-based systems running Windows NT, Windows 2000, or Windows XP and utilizing an Oracle 8i database (along with Oracle Lite for users in the field).

The recommended system configuration is as follows:

• 192 Mb or more
• 1 Gb hard drive
• Pentium II 750 MHz or higher
• Monitor that supports 1024 x 768 resolution

Server

• 256 Mb of RAM (minimum) or 512 Mb or more (recommended)
• 1 Gb to 12 Gb hard drive space (depending on the customer's storage requirements and the size of the database)
• Pentium II 266 to 300 MHz or higher. Configurations with UNIX database servers are also supported.

Network Bandwidth

• 100 Mbit Ethernet or switched 10 Mbit Ethernet for 30 or more full-time users.
